New Solutions for Dry Ice Contractors...

Global Dry Ice shortages have blasters searching for a product that offers comparable benefits to dry ice blasting such as:

- Low Dust

- Minimal Waste for Disposal

- Ability to Remove Grease and Oils

With the rising costs of dry ice blast media, many are turning to a product called Sponge Media. Sponge Media offers many of the benefits of Dry Ice blasting such as less dust than regular abrasives, but without the short shelf life of dry ice. Sponge Media can be stored on a jobsite or at a contractor's shop or laydown yard for months or years.

Sponge Media has been used successfully on projects typically reserved for Dry Ice Blasting, including ethanol plant maintenance, graffiti and soot removal, and cleaning of turbines. Sponge Media is an incredibly versatile product, allowing contractors to select a media that will impart a surface profile or alternatively, a media that will simply clean the surface or remove a coating.
